Independent moving guides
Local Movers HQ currently publishes state and city moving guides and planning resources. The guides do not list or recommend companies. Local Movers HQ is not a moving company, household goods carrier, freight broker, insurance provider, legal advisor, or government licensing authority.
Content on the site is provided for general research and planning. You are responsible for confirming licensing, insurance, estimates, availability, valuation coverage, contracts, and service terms directly with any moving company before hiring them.
Listings and inclusion
Any mover listing that is published will be researched and written by our editors from public sources. Inclusion in the directory will not be an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of any company’s performance, pricing, availability, safety, licensing status, or service quality.
Published listings will appear in stable alphabetical order and may be added, updated, or removed as editorial research changes.
No accounts, reviews, or claimed profiles
Local Movers HQ has no user accounts, submitted reviews, or profiles that a business can claim or manage. Factual corrections may be reviewed when a corrections channel is available. Each correction is checked against our editorial evidence standard before a listing changes, and flagging an error does not guarantee a change.
No paid placement
Companies cannot pay to be listed, change their position, or influence editorial content. Local Movers HQ does not currently accept advertising or sponsorships. If paid placements are ever added, they will be clearly identified and kept separate from editorial content.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, copy, or republish the site at scale without permission.
- Do not attempt to interfere with site security, availability, or data integrity.
- Do not misrepresent Local Movers HQ content or present a listing as an endorsement or certification.
Intellectual property
Local Movers HQ content, designs, page structures, graphics, and brand elements are owned by Local Movers HQ or its licensors unless otherwise stated. You may link to public pages for personal or editorial reference, but you may not copy or commercially reuse substantial portions of the site without written permission.
Third-party links and companies
Local Movers HQ may link to third-party sites, public records, and moving company websites. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, policies, pricing, services, or claims.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Local Movers HQ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for damages arising from your relationship with any moving company.
Changes to these terms
Local Movers HQ may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised terms.

Local Movers HQ does not currently publish a direct contact channel. When a contact or corrections channel is added, these terms will be updated to explain how inquiries are handled.
